SILVER LAKE BANK BUILDING, MONTROSE PA

The former Silver Lake Bank, listed on the National Register of Historic Places is now the headquarters for the Center for Anti-Slavery Studies. Renovations of the historic site are well underway. more>>

THE WILLIAM SMITH HOUSE, MONTROSE PA

William Smith, one of the first people of color who came from slavery to settle in Montrose, built his home on the lot adjacent to where the AME Zion Church would later be built. Efforts are in full swing to preserve this historic site. more>>>
